Squid, cuttlefish, and nautilus.

General Facts:

It is common on coral reef s of GUAM.

Specific Habitat:

They come out in the night and they stay in the shallow reef.

Sources of Food:

Crabs and shrimps, mollusks and fishes.

Predators in the Wild:

Humans, hammerhead sharks, nurse sharks, and sting rays.

Economic Importance:

They are hunted for food by the Chammorro people.

Threatening Factors:

All five species of octopus are edible, but only one is caught for food.

Preserving this Species:

There are no regulations on hunting this species.

Additional Facts:

It grows about 7 feet long, their eyes are well-devloped.
